qEEG recording with an EEG cap

Analytical methods

Selected measurements can add information to the initial consultation and support planning.

We consider measurements alongside the clinical history, current concern and goals. No single measurement establishes a diagnosis on its own.

01

Quantitative EEG, qEEG

Using an EEG cap, we record electrical activity at the scalp with eyes open and closed. The non-invasive recording takes approximately 20 minutes and can be compared with age-matched reference data. It may help inform neurofeedback planning. A qEEG does not, by itself, establish a medical diagnosis.

02

Stress profiling

During a structured baseline, task and recovery sequence, we may record HRV, skin conductance, muscle tension, breathing, skin temperature and pulse. The curves show how these signals change during activation and recovery and may guide biofeedback practice.

03

Metabolism check

Indirect calorimetry, or respirometry, measures oxygen use and carbon-dioxide production during breathing. We explain the protocol, purpose and limitations before deciding whether it is relevant.

04

BioEnergetiX WellNES

BioEnergetiX WellNES is offered as a wellness discussion tool. Its software output is not a medical measurement or diagnosis and does not replace medical assessment or treatment.

Which measurement is useful?

During the initial consultation, we review your concern, existing findings and goals, then suggest measurements that can contribute to planning.

Which measurement fits your question?

In a short call, we explain which measurements may be useful and how they inform the next steps.
