Professional discussion around an EEG cap

Training institute

Professional training in neurofeedback and biofeedback

Part-time diploma training, medical foundations and continuing education in German, French and English.

I-NFBF

Theory, practice and supervised application

The diploma combines neurophysiology, EEG and qEEG with practical work on several systems. Supervised patient work, case discussions and examination preparation continue throughout the programme. Participants are introduced to several systems before concentrating their practical work on their preferred system. Our participants are trained in small groups, continuously guided and supervised, and thereby prepared step by step for the diploma examination as well as for independently leading their own practice or a bio-/neurofeedback department within a clinic.

In-person teaching takes place in Zurich and Blonay. Additional teaching is delivered online.

Career perspective

Why a career in neurofeedback and biofeedback makes sense

Neurofeedback and biofeedback combine measurement-led therapy with a broad scope of practice and growing demand for qualified complementary medicine in Switzerland.

01

Strong demand

Two thirds of the Swiss population use complementary medicine. Among those treated, 87 per cent report additional positive effects such as improved health and relaxation.

02

A recognised profession

Since January 2022, biofeedback including neurofeedback has been a recognised standalone method. Registered therapists can bill through supplementary insurance.

03

Versatile prospects

Applications range from ADHD, anxiety, migraine and sleep to stress management and peak performance, allowing therapists to build their own specialist niche.
