About the institute

Since 2004, the Institute for Neurofeedback and Biofeedback has combined clinical work with professional training. It provides neurofeedback and biofeedback treatment and trains practitioners in the same methods under the direction of Dr Eva Otzen-Wehmeyer.

Treat and train

Clinical practice and teaching inform one another. Students learn methods that are also used in the institute’s own practice.

We provide neurofeedback and biofeedback for children, adults and older people, using non-pharmacological methods and measurable feedback.

Dr. oec. Eva Otzen-Wehmeyer
Founder and director

Eva Otzen-Wehmeyer founded the institute and continues to direct it. She has more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience, with a focus on qEEG-informed planning and clinical neurofeedback and biofeedback.

As a founding member of BBNS, she helps shape professional standards in Switzerland. She teaches in the diploma and continues to treat patients herself.

Taught in three languages

We teach and provide treatment in German, French and English. The German-language diploma runs in Zurich; French-language teaching and the practice are based in Blonay. Contact us for current English-language options.

Recognition and insurance

The I-NFBF Diploma is recognised under ASCA and EMR guidelines and carries equal recognition from BBNS. Graduates can build successful therapeutic practices and bill through Swiss supplementary insurance.

Dr Eva Otzen-Wehmeyer is personally recognised by EMR and ASCA, is a long-standing ISNR member, and is a founding member of BBNS.

Beyond the practice

Eva Otzen-Wehmeyer has supported an aid project in Lebanon since 2009 and has undertaken psychophysiological fieldwork. Documented examples from both areas are discussed in the training.
